The Pakistan Hotels Association (PHA) successfully conducted its 61st Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the Karachi Marriott Hotel. The event saw strong participation from members, office bearers, and executive committee representatives, attending both in person and virtually via Zoom.
The meeting was presided over by Mr. Shakir Abu Bakar Bhura, Chairman of PHA, alongside Barrister Mansoor Ali Shah, Vice Chairman (South), and Mr. Raza Abbas, Executive Committee Member.
Key agenda items included confirmation of the previous AGM’s minutes, presentation of the Chairman’s Report for 2024–25, approval of audited financial statements, appointment of auditors for 2026, and review of proposed amendments to the Association’s Memorandum and Articles of Association in line with updated regulatory requirements.
